Zug, with its low corporate tax and crypto-friendly regulation, hosts more than 1,000 blockchain and Web3 companies. The Crypto Valley ecosystem includes Ethereum Foundation, Cardano, Polkadot, dYdX and hundreds of digital asset infrastructure firms.
Web3 buyers are technical, fast-moving, and global despite being legally headquartered in Switzerland. They make decisions in days, not months, but expect deep technical credibility from vendors. Generic SaaS messaging falls flat; speak the language of on-chain, custody, MPC, settlement, and regulatory clarity.
Twitter (X), Telegram, Discord and Farcaster matter as much as LinkedIn for Web3 outbound. Founders and engineering leaders are reachable directly on these platforms. In-person presence at Token2049, Consensus, Crypto Valley Conference and ETHCC generates outsized pipeline.
MiCA in the EU, FINMA's evolving stance, and global AML pressure mean Web3 buyers increasingly need vendors with serious compliance posture. Travel rule compliance, KYT, on-chain analytics integration, and audit-grade reporting are table stakes for any vendor touching transactions.
For protocol-level buyers and exchanges: 3-6 weeks. For institutional crypto custodians and asset managers: 3-9 months. For traditional banks adopting digital assets: 9-18 months (TradFi rules apply). Segment your pipeline accordingly.
Usage-based, per-transaction and revenue-share models dominate Web3. Flat SaaS subscriptions are accepted for tooling but not for infrastructure. Be prepared to negotiate token-denominated or stablecoin payment terms for global clients.
Crypto Valley is a tight community. One satisfied customer can introduce you to ten others within a quarter. One bad implementation or security incident becomes public on Twitter within hours. Invest heavily in security review, customer success, and incident response from day one.
Let’s find the right companies, start the right conversations and build your Swiss pipeline.
